Jo Malone Global, Global Product Development Intern Brand: Jo Malone London Description Jo Malone London is currently recruiting for an intern to join the Global Product Development team at Global Head Office JML Townhouse based in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to develop PD skills within a leading British fragrance and lifestyle brand. The position will be responsible for supporting the Product Development team, reporting to Morgan Fulcher, Product specialist. We are looking for someone who is proactive and driven, as well as organized and efficient, with a keen interest in products and beauty. Day to day duties include: Management of Product Development key documents: Support Product Specialist on all new Fragrance Platforms for FY19-FY20 Update and organisation of ingredient library Maintain and update Tasting note copy, image Library, fragrance recap, fragrance combining documents Coordination and Organisation of Product Development samples: Developing a tracking system of submissions and approvals Keeping track of deadlines and following-up with different teams Maintain spreadsheet and organise the product development standards Assist the team in acquiring and distributing forecast samples Leading Fragrance Testing and combining sessions: Organise set up of all Fragrance Combining sessions for FY20/FY21 fragrances compile results summary of data collated Support liaising with fragrance houses: Requesting for all required information Providing with feedback on submissions Tracking of parcels and requests Prepare and organise product evaluations with precision of all product categories: Candles Perform burn tests, analyse burn, present to the PD team to aid in development Maintain a database and record evaluation of burn performance Bath & Body Prepare samples for evaluation with standard control Fragrance Organise samples for evaluation with blotters and skin to evaluate fragrance initially and over time Research competitive landscape for product categories: Competitive Landscape including claims, ingredients. Qualifications Requirements: Undergraduate degree Interest in Product Development Knowledge of fragrances Skills: Team Player Familiar with Microsoft Programmes (Powerpoint, Word Doc, Excel etc) Hard worker Eager to learn Creative Job: Marketing Primary Location: Europe, Middle East, Africa-GB-ENG-London Job Type: Standard Schedule: Full-time Shift: 1st (Day) Shift Job Number: 187468
