In anticipation of significant investment into digital transformation, the Trust is recruiting a new Head of IT. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and experienced individual to join North Middlesex University Hospital. The Trust is committed to ensuring it can meet future opportunities and challenges by delivering an effective, high performing IT service which support continuous improvement in the quality and safety of patient care.
As the Trusts Head of IT, you will have a key role with defining and delivering the strategic direction of IT within the Trust, ensuring IT infrastructure and services are fit for delivering safe and efficient clinical services. You will have management responsibility for the delivery of all operational IT services IT infrastructure, Application support, telecoms and IT security.
The Trust has highly ambitious plans over the next two years, to design and deploy new applications as part of its Global Digital Exemplar (GDE) Fast Follower plans. You will support the development and delivery of these programme of works, working with senior members of staff. You will have a technical background and highly developed communications skills to build confidence and credibility and represent the department at all levels.
We are looking for a high calibre individual with the ability to innovate, prioritise and make a rapid impact. The successful applicant will have significant technical experience and highly developed leadership and influencing skills. Previous applicants will not be shortlisted.
