The Digital Account Director will be responsible for providing account/client management, digital consultancy and campaign delivery to a variety of health brands.
We are excited to announce this new role within a growing team so if you have a passion for the health industry and are considered a digital Jedi we want to hear from you.
Obviously your finance skills will be tight… of course you need to be super organised… and yes, you may need to work late every now with your team because the client needs a strategy doing… or an SOW developed… or that cat coffee (Kopi luwak) drip-filtered and poured directly into their mouths last Tuesday by Gary Numan dressed, ‘in that outfit from that music video from the 80s’… but that’s to be expected right??
Seriously though, we want you if you can look at the state of the nation, know what you’ve got to work with, and find the best route to the finish line that benefits the client and the agency. Got what it takes? Then get in touch
Can you handle this?
  • Coordinate teams, motivate and mentor within (and beyond) the digital health team to work towards common goals (cheerleader captain)
  • Deliver best practice digital with a variety of clients, challenges and requests (Tina Turner’s ‘simply the best’ was written about you)
  • Being passionate and striving for what you believe is right (may the odds be ever in your favour)
  • Act as a partner in crime to account leads throughout various campaigns and day to day activities (yin to their yang)
  • Create strong relationships while working closely with wider teams to ensure success of campaigns and create a collaborative working environment (teamwork makes the dream… a reality)
  • Establish yourself as a subject expert for all things digital on key accounts (help me obi-wan, I don’t know what digital is)
  • Where necessary oversee community management, influencer mapping, copywriting, digital insights and digital account management (human swiss-army knife)
  • Work with the client service teams to create strategic and creative digital ideas (#nopressure)
  • Collaborate with the UK, EMEA and US cross-practice digital teams to share digital best practice (Brexit? What Brexit?)
  • Deliver existing digital work within the team and grow digital opportunities across accounts (@digitalhealthgrowthconductor)
  • Working within the agency to brief media, creative and research staff, and create and where appropriate assist with the formulation of marketing strategies (Not even sure what that means but it sounds pretty important)
  • Create proposals and control costs for digital activity (level 3 finance spells required)
Knowledge and capabilities:
  • Able to navigate changeable and fast-paced environments with high expectations
  • Proven experience of having immersed yourself in integrated and digital cultures
  • Can execute Jedi mind tricks (sales conversions and talking clients down from cliffs)
  • Strong motivational and mentoring skills
  • Demonstrable success in digital communications (either for clients or in house) particularly in terms of audience engagement (whether influencers, end customers, or both)
  • Second to none levels of organisation
  • Knowledge of digital research, analysis and measurement techniques
  • A sound understanding of various web technologies to support campaign execution and digital content creation
  • Understanding of commercial aspects of integrated work (costs, margins, ROI)
  • Ability to track integrated activity back to business outcomes (conversions, awareness, sales, etc.)
  • Knowledge of basic social media tools, e.g. Sysomos, Radian6, Traackr, etc.
  • Strong communications and client-handling skills, fluent English, and meticulous attention to detail
